Eagles RB Westbrook Sits Out Practice Again

POSTED: 3:38 pm EST November 21, 2008

(Sports Network) - Eagles running back Brian Westbrook missed his third consecutive practice Friday and is officially listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Philadelphia head coach Andy Reid stated that Westbrook has a "sore ankle and a little bit of swelling in his knee and inflammation in both." When asked about the Villanova product's availability, Reid said, "We'll see how he does tomorrow and in the early part of Sunday and then we'll make the judgment as we get closer."

Westbrook has been slowed by knee, ankle and rib injuries throughout the season, limiting his effectiveness.

He has rushed for 508 yards and six touchdowns in eight games this season. He also has caught 32 passes for 218 yards and a pair of scores.
