Caps Recall Aucoin

(Sports Network) - The Washington Capitals have recalled center Keith Aucoin from their AHL affiliate in Hershey.

Aucoin, an eighth-year pro with 53 games of NHL experience, leads the AHL in scoring this season with 36 points. He has nine goals with a league-best 27 assists in 24 games.

The 30-year-old native of Massachusetts appeared in 38 games for Carolina last season and notched five goals with eight assists for 13 points. He signed as a free agent with Washington in July.

In a related move, the Caps reassigned forward Graham Mink to Hershey.
