Obituary For Granite B Nance

For someone with allergies who was told he couldn't have pets, this cat was a miracle. I lived with Granite for 7 years and not once did I need an allergy shot. Granite Banana Nance, left us last night and this house will never be the same. When my wife moved in with me before we got married she brought with her, Granite and Bandit, her two cats. I fell in love instantly. Granite's warmth and playfulness made me a "cat person." Granite's favorite things were drinking water from the faucet and getting his back scratched. We used to call him Stevie Wondercat, because when you'd rub his back he'd sway his head back and forth. We can't put into words the loss we are feeling, but we know he had a good life here on earth and that he is happy now, looking down on us now. Granite will be cremated and his ashes will be scattered at Granite Falls, NC. We love you Big G and want you to know that no other cat could mean as much to us as you did.
